MOXY FRUVOUS - "Lazlo's Career" (Bottom LIne, 1997)
A great track off of the Canadian band's third album. I'd had Bargainville, their first release, which was similar in style to BNL, whom I love.  I listened a few times, but really didn't warm to that one.  But then I was knocked out when I heard this cut played during a sales presentation by their label. Great harmonies, cool hook, good lyrics.. what could be bad?  Although the band's website mentions that they are on a 'touring hiatus', they have not performed together since 2000. This will be happily stuck in your head today for sure..

"Take some time, expand your mind. Do what he'd do.. to be happy.."
