I didn't realize how much time had passed since my last stint on the computer.
This is a record: I have been on the computer less than four times in one month. Well, now it has to be ammended to five.
Everything is going well. Mom left on Saturday and I was sad to see her go. She was a tremendous help, especially those first two weeks when I was so sore and tired. Tired can be updated to exhausted, but it's a strange kind of exhaustion. I don't mind getting up at night to nurse and change her. It's weird. Maybe it's because I don't have to go to work and stretch myself thinner.
She changes daily and each day she has a new treat for us. She still isn't smiling AT us, but it's coming! She is making cute noises. She is also making un-ladylike noises; the kid can fart in ways that would put a marine to shame. She hates being bathed. She hates being soiled.
Hehe, I have to get a picture up of her in her cloth diapers (that's going well, btw. still too small for most of them so we do disposables at night until she gets some more booty). The girl has no ass (it all went to mommy apparently) but when she has a cloth diaper on, baby got back! It's funny to see her bigga-butt. They make her legs stick straight out and they end up higher than her head!
And boy do my boobs ROCK! My stomach flattened out fast. I'll never be a size 5 again because my hips spread but hey, now I have some curve. I just need to get back into my exercise routine and tone up and I'll at least look like I'm still in a 5. I turn sideways and I think "Whose boobs are those!?! Can I keep them?"
Mia in a hat that is entirely too large for her little head. She was quite jaundiced (this was a few days after we brought her home) so her colour looks funny.
The new little family! Lookin a little rough though!
More pictures to come...someday...
