This was a really cute one. You really played into Hikaru's habit of taking flight from stressful situations.haha.

This was one of my favorite fics to write. The basic idea came from a longer fic that I've never finished to my satisfaction, so I turned it into a smaller one just to get the idea out. Maybe someday I'll get it set ^^;;

Wow! What an original fic idea. It's frighteningly believable.
A Hikaru who refuses to play Go.
I also love the way Sai was maybe there, when Hikaru finally stops running.

I'm glad you liked it! Hikaru is just such an interesting character, and I really could just see him turning tail and running if he didn't feel like he could handle things.

I almost didn't put Sai there in the end, but eventually I figured I should just go ahead and do it. He's such a cute character - I miss him whenever I can't work him in! ^__^
