And yes, my writing skills are unfortunately extremely rusty. Other than those stupid essays I'm forced to write all the time, I haven't done any creative writing whatsoever (and those essays range from 2000 to 4000 words, so beginning any sort of literature is hard for me because I'm always forced to focus on the body of the essays. Unfortunately, my introduction writing is super weak right now). So thanks for your concrit! Hopefully, after a few more one-shots, the literary wheels in my head will start turning again and it'll improve. Since I have people like you to help me, I'll be able to get back in shape ^^V
As for this... well, Usagi's in Soul Society (since Shunsui is training to be a taichu and he mentions Yama-ji) so I thought it would allow the user to assume that Usagi has already died, meaning that she's been able to mature. And since the time when this is happening is during the very first days of the Gotei 13, I thought it would mean that it's likely that she died as a princess in the Silver Millenium because the creation of the Gotei was so long ago. But my thinking is a bit weird so I'll clear that up for my lovely readers -_-;;
