leaving for louisiana
i will be leaving for louisiana in just over five hours. who is excited? oh, me. i knew that. it is gonna be so hot down there. still, it should be cool. i got my cousins old id, still valid. hes 22. bourbon street, here i come. whoo! thats pretty cool. im excited about that one.
went to the dentist this morning to get my teeth cleaned. man, i had to get up at eight in the morning. i know, you all had to get up before that (maybe not), but that is still really early to me. im not used to seeing the sun on that half of the sky. crazy. after the dentist, my mom took my sister and me to cheddars for her birthday. oh yeah, its my sisters birthday. thats exciting. shes eighteen. that means she can go to big people jail now. anyways, good stuff. i had a chicken salad. it wasnt bad. after that i went home and took a shower cause i slept really wrong on my hair after the one last night. now im at work. kinda boring compared to the events that should be taking place in the next few days. were doing presents tonight. i havent given my older sister her presents yet, so ill be doing that as well as the younger sisters. well be going to taco tico. that may not be exciting to any of you, but taco tico used to be the fast food restaurant of my childhood. there was one on dixie, and when it closed, so too did my childhood. maybe a little bit of an exaggeration. still, i have not had taco tico in so long. im excited.
i was sitting right here working away two days ago, when cassie walked by. i had a slight suspicion that she was up here in the area, but i didnt expect her to suprise me at work. it was pretty cool. i had no idea she was here. it was really neat. yesterday, she accompanied me to oxmore mall to buy a card for the little sisters birthday. that was fun. exciting.
im kinda sad that no one replied to my poem or critiqued it or anything. parts they liked, didnt like, if it hit home to anyone. i thought it was a really good poem. i enjoyed the feelings that i felt when i went back and read it. if you have anything to say about it, please feel free to reply to this entry. if not, its cool. i understand.
