it seems like i have been running nonstop the past week. ive been filling out applications, about 25 out now. i have been working like a mad man at work, traveling all around. going on tests and interviews. and yet i still stay up late and get a few hours sleep ( Read more... )

firefighting:
have testing with marion county in mid october. have an interview and cpat testing with orange county soon. passed my evoc class a few weeks ago. passed my emt test. now i can apply to more places.

school:

i just applied to orange county fire rescue. the county the contains orlando and the like. its a pretty big department, 37 stations 902 emergency personnel. phew. thats a lot of people. if i get there, plus side is that i will be reltively close to gainesville, and the starting pay is about 35,000. i guess the written test is in a couple ( Read more... )
