the wheather was wonderful today, its the first day that of the year i was able to enjoy at work. on top of that, i spent 45 minutes talking about Christ to everyone i work with. thats pretty awesome for a construction site in alabama. the movie the passion of the christ was brought up, and it gave me a great opportunity to talk about why Christ came to the earth to die a horrible death completely innocent of any wrong doing...you know...sin. but most of these guys at work do not understand to idea of what sin is. most sinners do not understand. so i tried my hardest to explain about sin and how it came about from satan having pride in himself and then tempting adam and eve. them i told them about some stuff in Romans chapter one, two, and three; which is the best place to explain the idea of sinfulness. them i talked about God's big problem of how to have a relationship with mankind and not affect the fact that He is a just God. so, there had to be a sacrifice...a perfect sacrifice, which is Jesus. what amazed me what how clueless they were about this stuff. i guess after being a christian for 5 years now, i just thought everyone knew this stuff. boy was i wrong. but praise God that i was able to talk to these guys.
