OK, so It's about time I posted again.
When last I posted, I had just downgraded 2 potential LTR's. That left one left, for the moment. One that I had been emailing and I thought I'd be emailing forever, has changed her tune. She wants to meet this next weekend. What tipped the scales? I sent my personality profile from EHarmony to her. It turns out she really believes in personality profiling. I seem to agree on that one. So, she saw how compatible we are on paper and is ready to see if there is actually anything there. We can only hope.
This time I am not settling. Period.
So I weighed myself this morning 174. That's a good start for just cutting out candy and eating more lunches at work instead of going out. My God, how many calories are in food when I eat out!?!?! This may also be attributed to stomach pains I've been having. I had a bowel blockage last time I tried to diet. The first one in my life, with the exception of the one I was born with. This feels like it might be heading that way, but I'm trying everything I can on my own to take care of it. The nice side effect is I'm not as hungry. Yeah, Yeah, I won't let it get too far, if it doesn't resolve itself.
I went out last weekend to the Tiffany exhibit here before it moved on. Awesome stuff. I wish my stained glass was so good. My style is a good bit different, but I may have picked up on a technique or two I could emulate.
Oh and today was interesting. I got home, laid down on the futon in the living room and covered up to watch some TV. I went to cook dinner and my stove top would not light. I was so upset my stove top was broken. Just as I destroyed the sauce I had made there was a knock at my door. It was a local TV new personality. He asked me if my heat was on, I said, yes of course. Then after I went back in, I checked my thermostat and it was 64 degrees here. OOppss. Gee if the gas was out the stove wouldn't light and no heat would be on... I went back outside and found a gas guy going around the street manually turning on the gas to houses on the street. I told him mine was out also. He came down turned it on and everything works now.
So, I'm amazed it was 64 in here and I didn't even notice that it was cold, and also that I didn't even think it might have been the gas that was the issue with the stove top. Tells you how smart I am. Thanks local TV guy, it might not have been a very long while until I figured out what was going on!!!
