Paperwork Power!
Ok...I'm going to take my passport, my birth certificate, my social security card, my pay stubs, my Internet bill, my current driver's license, and my car insurance bill to the BMV on Friday (when I get paid, b/c I am perpetually broke as hell) to get a new driver's license with my current address.
Then, I *plan* to fax a copy of my updated license and whichever bills qualify as proof of address to Equifax, who will hopefully update my date of birth and address, from a local printing center (because the library doesn't let you fax anything). With any extra luck, I can get Equifax to tell me how I add proof of employment to my credit history, because my current report says that I have no employment history whatsoever (which is kinda wrong...by about 11 years).
Once I have proven that I exist and live and work, I will see *then* if I can start paperwork to go and get some mental health counseling. This might work. It might not. I really hope it does, because I need the help.
I also need new tires...and I need to get the heat in my car fixed. And about a billion other things. Why does my brain hurt?
