behavioral economics

Behavioral Economics
keep me up at night
it's a market inefficiency
i just can't kick,
i persist in satisficing
for why should the present
be twice as enticing
as a hundred unbeget tomorrows?
our computational innumeracy
keeps me chasing anomalies
all through this privatized economy;
you are what you demand of
and supply to me.
a million cadences of fanciful futures
still, cannot reinflate
the dwindling, star-disintigrating
ember of today.
but in this frail memory
you will remain a burst to me
reminding me quite illusorily
how to hijack the utility
of that that has expired.
