Nom Noms - Pet Food Box Defaults in English & Simlish
This is an entry for the GoS theme, “Out With the Old, In With the New”
Inspired by vegan-kaktus’ default pet food boxes, I’ve ventured to make my own, with all-new, all-original boxes for your sims to use. I spent hours figuring out names, designing (with free-to-use vector graphics helping me) and labelling each box accordingly.
Womrat Food is now Wheeky’s All-Natural Guinea Pig Food. Pellet-Free (like all good food for your lil piggies)! Dried Fruit & Veg are the first ingredients. The name comes from a common sound that Guinea Pigs make!
Bird Food is now Birdbrain’s Parrot Mix. All-Natural Seeds & Grains with DHA combine to give your bird(s) a tantalising taste experience. No guarantee they won’t fling it everywhere, though.
Dog & Cat Food is now NomNomFoods’ Beef Adult Dry Dog Mix. No Fillers, Meat First! It’s what your dog will tolerate in place of whatever you’re eating and also not paying attention to at the moment.
I wanted to make a cat one, too, but I decided on dog food because cats usually don’t even like dry food. I have three. They’ll eat it... but they prefer some good canned tuna, over even the best dry food, every single time. If there’s significant enough demand, I’ll definitely consider making a cat version, but your sim kitties should be okay eating this too. It’s pixels.
There is one small texture flaw that is Maxis’ fault - the inside of the flap has the kibble texture. I don’t know how to fix this. Sorry!
They are available in two styles: English, and Simlish! Only pick one file. If you have any other pet food box default, these may not work.
