Let me begin by saying that I never really doubted the Wii or Nintendo, however any expectations I had have been completely blown away. Nintendo's ultimate goal of accesability has been surpassed, and where the Wii really shines is how it brings people together, the second goal of Nintendo.
To virtually bowl with my mom and dad, (who previously have been limited to Mario, Zelda, and the occasional arcade-style racing game) was not only fun for me, but fun for them too.
To hear my dad exclaim "This is pretty fun!" and laugh as my mom bowled a gutter-ball was amazing. Even better was watching my mom dance in jubilant celebration as she bowled strike after strike. It was nice that my mom dominated the first game bowling of Wii Sports, and that my dad took home the gold the second go-around.
I may have to get them their own Wii next Christmas.
Nintendo, I salute you.
Hope everyone had a great Holiday.
Sean, I'll see you soon.
Doug, buy a Wii controller so we can have some three-player action.
Now I quote the dad from That 70's Show, in his role from Robocop:
Bitches, leave.
