Close Call
So I just got back from doing this presentation I had to do today, and I very nearly missed it. I thought I had to be at school at 12:45 to give this thing, but when I looked at the handout telling me where I had to go I noticed that the time I had to be there was 12:00 noon. The time was 11:50 when I figured this out. So in 10 minutes I had to get dressed, get my shit together, and make it to school. I showed up a little late and walked in on the first presentation(which was supposed to be mine). So, with my heart still racing trying to settle down from this near disaster, I was forced to give my presentation. It started off poorly because I was still catching my breath, but after a few minutes I settled down and gave a solid presentation about what to do to prepare for a golf tournament. Wow. I may be docked a few points for my tardiness, but it's all good. I can't believe I almost blew it by overlooking the most important detail, but it's in the past now so I'll move on and try not to make this mistake again.
