There are a couple of hostels downtown, which will probably be cheaper, and then you could try to find a ride with another fangirl/group?

Wish I could help more!

The main problems with that are the lack of an airport shuttle (er, I'm assuming, I don't know many hostels that operate those), and the lack of known fangroups. It's a good idea otherwise, though!

you can take the train (the blue line shuttle) into and out of the city from the airport! It's pretty easy. As far as finding a ride, that might involve another post here. I would point you in the direction of some fangirls, but I have no idea who is going OR who is driving.

The directions to the arena seem to say something about taking the train out there, but I'll definitely have to do more research into that mode of transport before I commit myself. Thanks for the suggestions!

You can have a parent book the hotel but be the one who checks in. My friends did that when they went on their honeymoon to Chicago and they were only 18.

They don't check ID when you pay for the room or check in? I'd hate to be all the way out to Chicago and get carded for a hotel room.

No, just have your parents call and say that they give you permission to check in. They did it and it worked. I also check into hostels under my husbands name when I travel.

Hm! I will call the hotels tomorrow and see if they permit that. Thanks for the suggestions!
