WANTED: Hotel Advice
This may be the wrong community to ask this in, since it's a case of being too damn young, but I'm in need of some solid advice.
I'm all set to go for the BND May 9th show at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. The plan is to fly up on Saturday morning, ditch my stuff in a hotel, go to the concert, sleep at the hotel, then catch a plane back home Sunday afternoon. There are at least five hotels that have a) a shuttle to and from the airport, and b)are within walking distance of the arena.
The fly in the ointment here is that I'm only 20 years old. And all of those hotels (The Radisson O'Hare, the Best Western O'Hare, Holiday Inn Express and Holiday Inn Select) require that you be 21 to check into a room. I can't rent a car and stay at a farther away, possibly more lenient hotel because of the age thing again.
I just need some advice, please. It's incredibly frustrating to be this close and be stopped by a matter of seven months.
