2 More days of Preschool...
1. The most important thing is this- only 2 more days of Preschool!! It's been an interesting year- and I'm definately going to miss the little kiddos. Hopefully I'll see them around- and maybe even get to see Sophie a bit. ( She's one of my favorites) I still haven't decided if I'm going back next year. This is the million dollar question- because even though this year was massively stressful- and there were days when I dreaded going to work- There are some good points too. ( Yeah Trav I know I keep going back and forth on this)
If only I was sure that I'd get to be the lead teacher for 3's- or possibly an assistant for the 4's. I have to tell them tomorrow if I'm coming back- so I guess I'll be doing a lot of thinking tonight.
Along with this comes this realization- Teaching is very rewarding even though you have to put up with a lot of crap. I also am impressed that the kiddos did learn quite a bit- there were many times when I had my doubts about this.
I've learned that sometimes it can be ok to let your assistant take over sometimes. ( This was very hard for me to get used to.)
2. I might look into subbing for next year.
3. I am really addicted to Pac- Man- this is partly due to all the free time I have since I've been done being the chauffer for the kiddos. This and Mario are all I'll play though.
4. I love my I-Pod Shuffle.
5. This friday is Preschool Graduation- I feel old because some of the kids that are graduating I've known since they were 2 (or younger)- and a lot of my kiddos from last year will be graduating too. ( Note to self- I'll have to go to grad next year too.)
6. I've turned into a germ-a-phobic.
7. I'll miss buying toys for my class.
8. I'll be watching kiddos again this summer- but it'll only be for 2 days and I will be able to take them to the pool and stuff. I'm probably going to look for another job too- so I can try and work on moving into an apt.
9. Trav and I are going to Clemson this weekend- YAY!
10. Once again I'm going with Tori and Ava-rella to the beach- this time it'll be for 2 weeks- unfortunately we're not going to the end of July.
11. I have a zero!!!!
12. I'm still not sure if I'll be going to Texas or not. I hope that it ends up working out.
13. My boyfriend is wonderful!!!:)
14. I went up to the Big Ec a few weeks ago to see Hopey graduate- Tori was there too- hopefuly I can see them both soon!
