Today my friends are hosting a little St. Louis thanksgiving. Salicia has to work on the real holiday, Ian will be alone, Matt will be with his girlfriend's family, and Phil, Casey, and I will be with our families, but we all loved the idea of doing thanksgiving together, to appreciate friends and food, without the exhausting travel or family drama. So we're having a little early thanksgiving, the 6 of us, at Phil and Salicia's place. I'm making desserts, berry cheesecake squares with a hazelnut crust and Moenning apple crisp, and my apartment smells OUTSTANDING as a result. :-)
Also, anyone going to be in the Quad Cities for Thanksgiving this year? Casey and I will be - give us a call!
