Today will be a steady balancing act of benadryl and coffee to counteract the effects of five hours last night at our friends' place where there is a kitten. I may never understand the allure of cats.
We went over to watch the UFC pay per view, which, because it was Georges St. Pierre's comeback from his knee injury, was AMAZING. It was SUCH a good main event! Epic. I <3 GSP! And me, Casey, Phil, Matt, Ian, and Salicia all had such a blast laughing together all night, eating way too many different kinds of carbs and cheese, and enjoying a really good night of fights.
Also, Lego Lord of the Rings is a BLAST. So far as enjoyable (if a little bit harder to figure out) as Lego Star Wars, and way less frustrating than we found Lego Harry Potter. Casey took Friday off, for no reason than he has vacation days to spend before the end of the year, and we got so much done in the morning - we hit David's Bridal and Mens Wearhouse for Julia and Bryce's wedding, we shopped at Bed Bath & Beyond and Trader Joes, etc. Lots of errands in the morning meant we were justified in parking ourselves in front of the wii for a good part of the afternoon. :-)
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE HOBBIT!!!
Most of my friends and my husband aren't up for the midnight premiere on Thursday (since they have jobs or are old.) Do I go with the few who want to do the midnight premiere, or do I wait and see it with all my favorite people on Friday?
