Casey and I got up at 6:15 and walked out the door at 6:45 to go vote! The polls were only a few blocks from us so we grabbed our scarves and hats for a crisp sunny morning walk to vote! We got there nice and early a bit after 7, and were back by 7:45ish. There was some confusion about Casey's polling place, but it all worked out just fine. Not the quickest ordeal, but not bad at all, and a beautiful morning to take a walk together. Glad to vote in this important election! We researched and voted on all the propositions for MO (plz raise the tobacco tax - ours is the lowest in the nation!) and voted solidly against Todd Akin. Huzzah. It was fun, because the neighbors attending were all in a good mood to vote.
Looking forward to watching the votes come in throughout the night. Should be interesting.
We Voted!
My great-great grandmother was a quaker suffragette who knew Susan B. Anthony. Hope I've done her proud voting today!
