As my friends in StL take off for their respective "homes" for winter break, and I sit here continuing to work while it pours warm rain outside on this mid-December day, I find myself tapping my feet in impatience, waiting for my January trip to snowy, beautiful, mountainous, Evergreen, Colorado. I've got John Denver's Rocky Mountain Memories instrumental album playing, and the #1 place I'd like to be right now is drinking coffee and eating way too much food at the Country Road Cafe in Kittredge.
