the little Amy that could.

It feels good to start off a new year and a new semester with optimism. I feel optimistic that I will be productive, healthy, happy, and successful this semester. It feels great to start off the semester with this feeling! My first week is going well. I clean and stretch in the mornings, then have an early lunch with Casey, go to my office and work, go to whatever classes I have that day, and perhaps hit the gym (as I did today) until 4 or 5:30 (depending on the day) when I get picked up by Casey. We have dinner, and he goes off to training/rehearsal whatever and I do homework. That's the week schedule, and so far so good.

I think being the only girl taking classes this semester is motivating me to really show all these men that I'm not a little dumb blonde girl. (Their male egos can be really grating. I am not looking forward to spending 6 hours straight every Monday with Jay - UGH!)

I'm also pleased cause the working out is really working out! I can run twice as far now and have met my 'mean girls' goal of "I wanna lose three pounds." My dress looked great when I put it on again for my fitting over break. :-)

Off to do my reading. Gotta stay on top of this momentum! No procrastinating!
