(no subject)
So culture show is coming along! We still aren't quite where we should be by now... but nevertheless, it is coming along. Leo saw our rough cut of it yesterday and told me it was the one of the best culture shows he's ever seen, and that he's seen a lot cause he's been around a long time! And then Clif Ashley told Bryon that it looks "fucking awesome" and to pass that on. SO, the choreography is clever apparently (athankyouverymuch!) and we just really have to work on making more uniform. Bryon and I are meeting soon to get the music all put together and what-not. Can't wait to see us all bust out into the shim sham after the dance. We haven't done that yet. I love the shim sham, and I just hope it's not too fast! Also can't wait to put the aerials in. We'll do that today as well.
Last night was stressful. Bryon was finally back to see the progress we made and he was being critical and wanting to change the way Josiah and I had decided to do stuff. That was extraordinarily frustrating, especially because we were already slightly changing the jumping transitions and the baskets. It just kind of pissed me off because he ditched us all last week and left it up to us to figure out how to pull it off, so he really didn't have the right to bitch about how we decided to make it work. Boo.
I love the people backing me up though. They rock:
Hey hon. You did wonderfully last night. It's going well, people rolled with the changes really well, and it was a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to tonight!
