Well, it sort of is. it sounds like drunk people gargling latin words. Damn drunken gauls that spoke the original french!

Well, I was going to major in it, so I'm obviously biased, but I've never spoken Latin (though I wanted to learn - stupid block plan...), so maybe it sounds gross in comparison. But German, THAT's an ugly language. So much spitting...
