http://picasaweb.google.com/AmyMoenning/ClockTowerSuiteAndMovingIn Life's been good. My room is set up and organized, my door decs are done, I just spent the the last day and a half with Casey, and I couldn't be happier.
Yesterday Casey came over to pick me up and we headed back to Iowa City for the day. We went to the mall and cooed at animals in the pet store, had panera for a quick lunch and AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS SUSHI at Oyama for dinner (like, seriously extra good this time for some reason. The beauty alaskan roll and the eel cucumber roll were tasty). Lunch and dinner were both on my Dad, thankfully, since he gave me a big bill to spend on Casey when he dropped me off. Stuffed and full, we brought a few pieces of maki to Bryce, visited there for a bit, and then went back to Casey's apartment. We took a walk to HyVee and got some snacks and MILK, and made brownies (I liked the batter more than the actual brownies... remind self to buy brownie batter) while we watched several episodes of Lost. 't was a good night.
Yesterday was just one of those days where I just completely fell in love with Casey all over again, and remembered how much I enjoy spending time with him. Summer apart sucks, but it does make the days when we get to see each other again, finally, extra special like these last few days have been being back together in Iowa. Ugh, fun.
The fun continued today when we ran out into the POURING RAIN (which we also had to do yesterday) when we went to Target so I could get curtains and shampoop - I got Aussie this time because the bottles were funny - and the we came back to MV. Helped Sammi move in, saw Matt Babbs, Jacob, and Garrett, and welcomed Kerri to the suite before watching the last few episodes of lost. Casey was just as baffled and enraged as I was at the end of the season, and I'm thoroughly sad we'll have to wait until flippin' February to watch more lost together. Good times!
I had my first day of PA training today, which was really a good time. We did the usual - pizza dinner, the curtain name-game ice breaker, my favorite ice breaker with the summer statements and the chair swapping, and of course the PA Quilt. Got our binders and shirts, so let NSO begin!
