nerding out - OH MY GOD.
OH MY GOD THEY'RE MAKING A DRAGONLANCE MOVIE THIS WINTER! AND IT'S DRAGONS OF AUTUMN TWILIGHT!!!
I don't even care if it's animated. I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE MY TANIS AND LAURANA AND STURM AND FLINT AND THE WHOLE GANG ON SCREEN! Even that bitch Kitiara Though I don't think she'd be in this one...). Oh this is going to be wonderful. OH my gosh I'm so excited. I love these books so much. I might freak out.
Some thoughts after seeing the character sketches -
- Riverwind looks perfect.
- Tanis does not. Where's his strong jawline and rugged good looks? His face is too thin
- Sturm is good, but his head should be bigger or something.
- I don't like all the angles on Laurana's face. She should look less angular and more beautiful. I secretly always wanted to be Lauralanthalasa and get it on with Tanis. The tension between them is awful for so long. Hahahahaa. oh good fantasy.
- I'm really sad Tanis isn't the rugged man hunk i had pictured
- Ew Michelle Trachtenberg is voicing Tika? She doesn't have the spunk and cute spit-firey sex appeal to play TIKA! Even if it is a voice over! Blasphemy.
- I am realize what a nerd I am looking at this movie though. oh dear.
- I didn't know TSR produced the dragonlance chronicles. Wow that makes it even nerdier.
- HAHAHA James T Kirk from the starship enterprise is apparently whom Tracy Hickman based Tanis's looks off of a bit... but with a beard
- I can't believe they're just going to use mostly American accents. Lameo. We'll see.
