Lisa Hearne was in a great mood today and was NICE to the steel drum band (who deserved it because they are AMAZINGLY COOL and made "Kyrie" so neat), to us during "Cindy" (which I actually enjoyed and had a good time with today), and to our incredibly talented string accompanists during "My Luve's Like a Red Red Rose." As predicted, Sarah could not stand Lisa's criticisms, and quit, so Dali jumped in and took her place today and we were blown away. I can't believe how well she did it having only gotten the piece 15 minutes prior! So lovely. I really do love the violin and occasionally kick myself for not playing it anymore. It went really well and Lisa was so pleased. Grant's cello playing was flawless again today - god the sounds of the cello are so delicious.
If I'm ever not dating Casey for some weird reason, I'd want to date a cellist. But not one of those musicians that's like married to their instrument and would ignore me or something (like the cellist on Will and Grace that one time), but the kind that would play me sweet sweet resonant cello sonatas daily, and look sexy doing it. If I can't date a cellist a sassy baritone or tenor-licious singer would also suffice.
In other news, I think I rocked my midterm, and my book report book really helped me answer the essay question. Score! I celebrated by buying stuff at Shepleys like candy and batteries and double-sided tape. (Cara and Britta, I'm stocking up - don't want to have to try and find tape in Greece after that lady in England ridiculed us "taaahp, say it with me now!")
