Wednesday was about Conversations with friends

Class yesterday was extraordinarily funny, especially when Miller mentioned the George Washington YouTube video. We were talking about mythologizing history (which they did in Spain a LOT) and all the stories about George Washington and Dan muttered "six foot 10" and Miller responded with "F'ing killing for fun!" and then we had an AHH! You know it too!-moment that was really wonderful and Miller told the class to YouTube it and we quoted it a bit with our professor. He asked how the part about his horse went and I recited "On a horse made of crystal he patrolled the land with a mason ring and schnauzer in his perfect hand" and then Miller laughed so hard his face turned red and he cried a little bit. Oh dear. He said of the video - "Wonderfully inappropriate, beautiful, and only makes the myth of George Washington even better!"
That's why I'm in a facebook group about it!

Haha. Anyway, Yesterday I spent the entire evening talking pretty much. I met up with Ashley to go over history of medieval Spain notes with her, and that was great. It took us four hours what should have only taken us two though, because we kept getting off topic and would chat about friends, or how we've changed since college, or what we're taking next year, or our living situations next year, or learning new languages, or lasik, or anything really. I enjoy talking to her, and we did get all our studying done, which was good. In the process though I forgot about LOST (I'm now two weeks behind - SORRY SAMMI!) entirely and it wasn't until 11pm that I was like, well crap, I forgot lost. Stupid Studying. Oh well.

After studying it was only like 10:30. I'd intended to go back, study more in my room, and go to bed early. I stopped by Tarr on the way to say hi to Dan because he didn't join our study group. I ended up staying like almost 2 hours having a long conversation about relationships. Also rewarding, but cut time out of my plan. When I returned I ran into Maggie on the way to the bathroom, and we ended up talking for 40 minutes about applying for grad school and what a scary endeavor it is. Also a good bonding conversation, but by then it was 1am.

So, I just decided to review and study this morning. I called my Casey, took a shower, and hit the hay.

friends, lost, miller
