what happened to warm? (I SEE MEG TODAY)
So I woke up this morning to see that everything's covered in a thin layer of icy snow, the world is foggy, and my house is frigidly cold. I put my clothes in the dryer before putting them on - mmm. Anyway I am amazed that once again I managed to sleep til like noon (spring break has been good to me) and I'm excited to see David and MEGHAN tonight! I'm pretty excited to see Dave, but I'm REALLY excited to see Meg (haha, this is a joke!).
Dave and I are going early to her party to help her frost cupcakes. But first, we're gonna go to D-West for shopping and dinner, and hopefully make fun of skanky 7th graders who think they're "sexy" like Sammie and I did at Bergen Theatres the other day. haha.
Yesterday (in reverse chronological order) I watched a lot of TV with my parents (OH my mom and "shishter" and I laughed so hard) and I also went shopping with Mom at Gart for sandals but ended up getting a skirt and shirt instead, and I went down to the Colorado Historical Society to talk about my internship this summer. You know, before I was pretty disappointed that this internship would not be related to my studies at all, but it sounds really interesting and pretty fun, and I get to organize things (which may sound boring to you but I think archiving sounds right up my ally). I love old stuff, I love Colorado Stuff, I love books - what is not to like about this internship? I really liked the ladies too, especially Leigh because she's young and fun. If I don't get that Chicago internship, I won't be heartbroken, because the CHS and Latin classes and getting to hang out with my friends and family and Emily Morgan and Mikayla sounds like a pretty great summer too.
Okay, time to get ready for the day and do something productive before I hang out with Dave and Meghan - I know you're jealous.
