Happy V-Day! To anyone who cares about Medieval History, I was amused by this quiz about famous medieval couples. I was shamed to only get a 50% though. Enjoy!

I finished that horrid paper at 5am this morning - yeah, sucky I know. The preparation I put into that paper was astounding to me. If I don't do well, I'll cry (some more) beacause I worked my ass off on it. It was nice that Maggie was up fairly late working on it so we could ask each other lots of questions, get feedback on ideas, and generally entertain one another throughout this whole crappy process. We decided we should just turn in the sentence "Genji is a perv." and that would pretty much sum up everything we've learned.
Class was really long today. I swear time slowed. I was getting very restless by the time 3pm rolled around. Luckily I didn't get sleepy at all.
You know what's great? Having summer sausage in the fridge to eat. I am a big advocate of meat as a snack, and don't feel that there are enough delicious meat snacks in my life. Mmm.
Ugh, I have to do a quickwrite tonight. I was really mad I only got a 4.5/5 on my last one because I worked SOOO hard on it this weekend and lost points because I didn't cite the way she wanted. That made me angry. Boo-urns.
It's Valentine's Day. I should be going out for a romantic dinner and a delightful movie with my boyfriend. Instead, I'm going to read obscure renaissance poetry and write another little paper all evening. *groan.
