Octavian walked in on Julius at the dining table. He was surrounded by a multitude of food. “Julius?” he questioned.
“Hmm,” responded Julius.
“What are you doing?”
Julius swallowed. “Eating that delicious new food you brought me. I just love it. Even if it does stick to the roof of my mouth.”
Octavian chuckled. “Would you like some milk?”
“Yes, please.”
Octavian brought him a glass and asked, “What did you eat it with?”
“I put it on bread, which was fabulous. I put it on some fruit, mostly apples and bananas. I even tried it on celery, that was really good. That’s it so far.”
“I see.” Octavian glanced at the table. “Let me try it with an apple.”
Julius handed him an apple. “It’s really very good.”
Octavian took a bite. “It is. Let me try something else.”
Julius smiled and handed him a piece of bread. “I have just the thing. You put some jelly on it and then the peanut butter and then another piece of bread. It’s so good.”
