A one-off, three-day job taking surveys in the Johnsonville Mall, but it's still a job, for which I will get paid. All thanks to
morbane, who I will squish appropriately when I see her tomorrow.
Speaking of jobs, my parents are finally moving - to Nizwa, not Salalah, despite the whole contract saying university in Salalah. Whatever: there's a job waiting for them in an actually quite pretty mountain town that gets yearly rainfall and a noticeable winter. They're choosing to treat it as an adventure, which in their vocabulary means "massive inconvenience in a new and interesting location." It's the kind of reckless optimism I've always admired.
In the meantime, it's the mid-semester break, so I have been spending my time playing Hammerfall on Facebook and watching Veronica Mars (yes, I am slow at some things). I even went to the library and took out books to research for my Film essay, more than a week before the essay is due - lookit me, Imma scholar!
Okay, not really.
