Today I played my first RPG, and it was awesome. I was really learning as I went, because there were so many stats and things to remember and take into account, but it was really fun and a lot more socialising than I normally do on a Sunday afternoon. :D Also, apparently it was unusually productive for a first session: there were three female players and one male GM, and we had to work out how three female characters were supposed to topple the government of 1920 America. And in two hours, we did! It was fiendish.
Then I wandered home (having been directed to the game shop where I may purchase my own 10-sided dice, thus taking the next step on my journey to the dark side), and spent the rest of the evening curled up on the couch with soup and a radiator, marathoning Outrageous Fortune with Sas. I even sketched my character. Did I mention it was a totally miserable, wet, turn-your-umbrella-inside-out-every-ten-steps windy day? And yet I still achieved socialisation, not to mention laundry. I WIN TODAY.
