Pouring rain. Strong winds. Hail coming down. And no umbrella. What in the world was Seifer doing out in the middle of a hurricane?
He wasn't being patient. He wanted to make sure that his most prized possession was fine. And the storm would just have to let him through it alive. Of course, this wasn't one of his most brilliant ideas. But, he still had compassion. That's what mattered, right?
He ran through the sandlot, failing at his attempt to swat away the golf ball-sized hail. It would have been smart to bring a coat, at least. But. Love makes you blind, doesn't it? Maybe it makes you a bit slow, too.
He threw a piece of hail at Fuu's door, signaling for her to open it. She looked out, and burst into a fit of laughter. "What's so funny? I just ran through a storm!" he asked, trying to dry out his hair, and his beanie.
"You could've just been patient," she said. There was no sign of the storm. The clouds disappeared, and the sun shined down on him. He looked like a knight; a knight who fought a dragon and lost. He growled at her, and she smiled. At least he tried.
"Come," she commanded. "Let's dry you off." He nodded, and headed toward the door.
