Despite the location, the gig was quite good.

The lovely Jim Moray was lovely as ever. Then Patrick Duff was occasionally good, occasionally dull, and occasionally made my ears hurt. What a lot of entries today, and I haven't even told you about the hilarity once I'd got to dinner. And the proprietor of the eating establishment (heavy Brummie accent) telling a (German) RC curate "wives come, wives go, I want a girlfriend, she* has very nice glasses".
