I was just re-watching the finale (for the sixth or seventh time) and I noticed something I hadn't noticed before (or seen anyone mention): ( cut for spoilers )
I totally agree. I think Brennan's book as the Hodgins voiceover, and most of the AU was Booth's dream. The only thing I don't know yet is exactly jow she realized she loved him. Is it just the fact that he got sick and had a life threatening tumor or did she have part in the Au too. Now that I think about it she must have because the two clocks in the sex scene clearly indicate that one was Booth's dream and the other Brennan's in Brennan's mind. The only thing I'm iffy about is the fact that HH is making us believe that this is the first time Booth's going to realize he loves her , and that it's the first time he's thought about them having sex. We all know that's not true at all , so I don't get why he do that. Plus in his twitter he said that Marisa Coughlan ( Perotta ) would likely be back , which sucks because we all know which way that's heading... Bring on the Booth/Perotta obligatory rebound relationship when he wants to take things further with Brennan and she declines. I really hope HH brings back some of the wonder of seasons 1 and 2 this year. Perotta and Jared and love triangles are just old , old news and so predictable. By the way , I'm guessing the AU Booth slugging his brother is what the real Booth has been dying to do for a while.
