Announcement:
After much deliberation on the mods' part, we have made the decision that any WIP fic that has not been updated within three months of its nomination will be declared abandoned and therefore will not qualify for the WIP section or any genre it fits under. This is not to exclude fics, but rather because if a fic is unfinished or (as we have decided) seemingly abandoned, it does not make sense to recommend it to the rest of the fandom.
We apologize if this is inconvenient for any of you.
Note: We are keeping an eye on all nominated WIPs that have been declared abandoned in case they are updated within the nomination period. If they are updated after December 17, they still will not qualify because nominations will end.
