Charles/Erik: Genderswap, Pregnancy

Erik meets Charlotte immediately before the events of X-Men: First Class in a pub. Raven dared her good sister to spend one entire day without using her powers completely. Ergo, Charlotte has no idea Erik is a mutant when they meet (or rather when she spills her drink on him by accident) and the two have a one night stand.
Charlotte is pregnant during the movie, Erik doesn't know but he has yearnings for a girl he only knew as Magda.
Bonus: Charlotte with babies at the end of the film (or blurting out she's pregnant) doesn't equal instant reconciliation between the both of them.
Extra Bonus: Erik doesn't realize Charlotte = Magda until much, much later or even after the "Divorce".
I had intended to mention Magda, and then by the time that I finished the fic, I realized I'd completely forgotten the Magda angle. :||| Hopefully you'll still like it though!

When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child. ~Sophia Loren
Tweaking the timeline on this one a little
"Oh, come on, Charlotte," Raven complains, tugging her sister off the train and onto the platform. "You need a weekend away from those books. Seriously, your brain is going to melt if you keep this up. School hasn't even started yet

"I attend classes as you for a week. You can get in all the studying you want and not miss a minute's instruction time." Raven's expression says all Charlotte needs to know of her opinion on that. "And a serious shopping spree this spring."
It's utter lunacy to agree to the terms, but Charlotte finds herself nodding anyway. She'd empty the family coffers if it put a smile on Raven's face every day and, really, the week's class time did sound deliciously attractive. "I reserve the right to select the week, yes?"
"Absolutely," Raven says, her smile unchanged by her form-shift. "Now, we're going to need new names." Seizing Charlotte's hand again, she starts through the crowd, looking this way and that until her smile widens and she smirks her sister's way.

It feels wrong; shrouding her abilities. As though the world has gone grey, the colours muted and suppressed, and Charlotte feels unsettled and off-kilter throughout the day. That's not to say she doesn't enjoy herself. She and Raven have a grand time shopping, picking up this and that for their new flat, and Charlotte has an embarrassing amount of fun watching Raven build a persona around her assumed identity

"One might say cautious," her French slips at the last, accent twisting the word a little too much, but she pays it little notice. He certainly isn't, not with the way his eyes are fixed on hers and his hands are still holding her collar. "One never knows what might be lurking round the corner

This anon and I are clearly on the same wavelength. I did the exact same thing. Plus, I'm listening to Dusty Springfield, and it fits this all too well.
