This is here for personal reference, mostly. Some of y'all know that my little bro lyndon_head has been working on this. Novel. Thing. Universe. Full of crazy. And that there is an ex-boyband member named Yamashita Masaki that kills people and is derpy and very awesome.
Anders basically outsourced and got me to come up with Masaki's former group. And here they are.
MiSTERY

The Leader - Miura Kouhei
Birthday: October 19th
• Second oldest - 20 at debut, 26 at the time of the scandal
• Member-ai means that MiSTERY will do just about anything for their leader. Kouhei is the easygoing type of leader, and one of the most beloved senpai among tiny jrs. His feathers aren't easily ruffled, not even by Rikudo's bitchery, but he's not big on actually accomplishing shit. That's what Daisuke's for. XD Kou and Dai are the papa and mama and if you want something, you go to Kouchan because nobody crosses Dai. He does, however, have a not-so-secret evil little bastard streak, especially around Daisuke.
• Kouchan if you're anyone but Daisuke, who just calls him Kouhei.
• Leader has the sexy smooth low voice. Which means he gets to be the rapper. /purrs. It's not his image, like Koki, but if there is rapping to be done, it's Kouhei that does it.
• Piercings: Two studs in his left ear. Rumor has it he used to have a lip ring? The world may never know. (The world aside from Daisuke, anyway.)
The Tragically Overlooked One - Shimizu Tadayoshi
Birthday: December 3rd
• Third oldest - 18 at debut, 24 at the time of the scandal
• Everyone picks on Shii. It is how they show their love. He's certainly good-looking, but a little more "normal" than the rest of the band, so he doesn't get as many fangirls. This is depressing, because Shii is awesome. Actually went to college - majored in English. FLUENT, BABY. Or nearly, anyway. Shii kind of has a Matsujun duckvoice but if he stays in his own damn range he doesn't sound too bad. Fail bodyrolls bring him down to the level of worst dancer. He and Rikudo are always at each others' throats because Rikudo is a jerk and Shii is not very well-adjusted yet.
• Absolutely everyone calls him Shii. Or Shii-chan. He hated it at first but it grew on him pretty quickly. Although Kouhei has been known to call him Tadacchi after claiming that just calling him Shii is boring.
• Not at all flexible. Like, seriously, he can't even do a proper toe-touch, what is he doing in a boyband.
• ALLERGIC TO STRAWBERRY-FLAVORED LUBE. Do not ask why this is important, it just is. Because I said so.
• Piercings: Used to have one in his left ear, stopped wearing it when he entered college. Rikudo likes to spread nasty rumors about all the other places Shii's pierced.
The Baby - Tsukamoto Hikaru
Birthday: March 10th
• Youngest, obviously - 15 at debut, 22 at the time of the scandal
• Can get away with absolutely anything. His bandmates dote on him constantly. Cute, but not stupid - like Masaki, he plays it up for the cameras. And the senpai, obviously. He's actually a pretty devious little ho and could probably challenge Masaki for his slut crown. Fans mostly ship him with Rikudo (they're not Nikaido and Senga, I swear, except that they totally are), but he's got his moments with Kouhei as well.
• Tsuka-chan to more or less everyone. Daisuke and Kouhei call him Hika-chan most of the time. Rikudo just calls him Hikaru.
• Easily excited and gets all rambly when you let him. It's cute.
• Piercings: None. (Yet. Rikudo is making noises about Tsuka-chan getting his tongue done; Tsuka-chan will hear nothing of it, and insists if anyone's going to get pierced a little farther down south, it might as well be him. Daisuke makes it clear that this is not happening ever, and if it does, heads will roll.)
The Team Mom - Endou Daisuke
Birthday: February 28th
• Oldest - 20 at debut, 27 at the time of the scandal
• Lead dancer and everyone's big brother or possibly mom. While Kouhei is being friendly and laid-back, Daisuke is the one making sure MiSTERY is actually getting their work done. A bit OCD, will not hesitate to take any of his charges to task for dicking around or slacking off or shenanigans behind the costume racks I mean what not shipping it asdjfls. I have just realized he is a bizarre cross between Yokoo and Jaejoong, wtf.
• Daisuke or Dai-kun/Dai-chan most of the time. Dai-nii to Hikaru, Rikudo and Masaki.
• Piercings: One stud in each ear, cuff on his right. NAVEL PIERCING YAY.
The Jerk - Rikudo Yuuta
Birthday: January 13th
• Third youngest, sort of the middle child, as it were - 17 at debut, 24 at the time of the scandal
• Basically Nikaido. (but slightly more M.) I honestly cannot make him any different, he is Nikaido in my head forever and ever. He's the brat, that's his job. Has this sort of rivalry with Shii over... more or less everything. They will start fights over the tiniest thing, but it's all in fun. He and Hikaru are bffs - their dynamic is sort of Pin meets 2000. Probably the third best voice after Masaki and Kouhei.
• Riku most of the time, Riku-chan or Yuu-chan if you're feeling a bit nasty. Usually Yuu-chan or Yuuta to Hikaru though.
• Piercings: Rikudo is the piercing whore of the group. Two in his right ear, four in his left (two are cartilage). Used to have a tongue piercing, but their manager made him take it out. :( THE OTHER NAVEL PIERCING YAY.
The Slut - Yamashita Masaki
Birthday: January 17th
• Second youngest - 17 at debut, 24 at the time of the scandal
• Do we really need a bio? Whatever. Sort of what you'd get if you crossed Jin with Aiba. He is a BIG OLD DERPFACE with hips to the nth degree. Fans will ship him with just about everyone, it's not as if there's not evidence. There's no specific person he's closest to, though. Also like Jin, Masaki has by far the best voice. Kouhei and Rikudo are good too, but Masaki gets all the breathy moany harmony bits. This is really not doing him justice, I should probably just write more of him so I can get his personality pinned down in my head.
• Hikaru calls him Ma-chan, everyone else goes with Masaki-kun, usually.
• The scandal was in April, a few months after his 24th birthday.
• Piercings: Three in his right ear (one is cartilage), one in his left. I assume he stops wearing them after he leaves?
