au revoir maman!
Sent mummy off at the airport this morning - can't believe she's been here a month and it's time for her to return home! Time has just flown by just like that! Really, it flies by especially quickly when one is happy.
And it's been a wonderful month - I haven't actually spent time like that with my mummy since I finished uni & started working.. that's like 7-8 yrs ago!! And this is a stage of life where you really appreciate and can relate to your mum, as I'm also one myself.
Sure, she makes me wanna scream sometimes, esp with her " girl you should do this....you must do this...I tell you, this way (ie HER way)is better..." BUT BUT BUT that aside, I've experienced so much joy and warmth being with her and Josh. Somehow, our mother-daughter connection is at its greatest, strongest & most evident when we have Josh in common. Your mum is truly the one person you can share all your ups & downs of motherhood with.
ok before i piss lingpie off... your sister too!!!!! hee hee. And your sister is truly the one peron you can whine to ( and who'll understand perfectly)...... abt your mum!!!! ha ha ha. So Praise the Lord, I've got them both! :)
and so, I've washed the sheets, kept the extra mugs & wineglasses..... but but but, only until lingpie comes in 3 weeks!! yay!
