Hello fellow mummies.. what's your take on the following ?
1) At 17.5 months, Josh still takes the pacifier to help him sleep. It's not a habit I'd like to encourage but it is very convenient for us. No need for controlled crying or fighting it out with him..etc etc. Milk, pacifier, cuddle, sleep. Hub and I actually really look forward to this bonding time nightly ( esp hubby)
Good thing is, it's just to help him sleep at night. When he's super tired , for instance in the car, he'll just doze off.
Is it bad that he's still taking the pacifier at this age??
2) Josh is still drinking his milk from bottles with large teats. He loves his nehneh still but I think the flow is too slow for him even with large teats. Should I change to cups? What brands are good? I tried Nuby ( not bad).. Pigeon Mag Mag ( yucks)... For water & during mealtime, he uses the cup very well, it's just that he has the annoying habit of pouring water on the table immediately after, to play.
3) at this age, should or can he be taking things like garlic / onion / herbs etc?? To enhance food taste but also, it's good for the heart etc, no??? His current absolute fav food - tofu & prawn omelette. He's still on porridge strike so it's wholemeal pasta for lunch & din. Hmm... maybe rice??
oki dokes... thanks in advance... no one here to seek opinions so you gals are my expert panel ;)
