Meredith called to inform me that you are now eligible to join DAR - you have to be 18 to join. Her best friend, a Marion Cotesworth-Haye, will be calling or writing you soon. Meredith seems to think its a Westin obligation to join.
It's up to you whether or not you want to apply, although both of your grandmothers, myself and all of your Aunts on both sides were inducted. I go to the meetings, but that's cause all my friends do - you don't have to - I don't think Mom ever went to a single one. I don't think Ellie or Zoey have but I'm not sure, you could ask them.
If you decide to join, I have all the genealogies, pedigrees and lineage charts. Giggling over pedigrees, makes us sound like a bunch of dogs.
