Rating: um, PG-R Nothing really graphic...haven't been able to convince myself to write that yet.
Notes: First ever meme that I've actually finished. Love it, hate it, don't care, let me know. This was harder than I thought it would be. But, it made several 12 hour shifts somewhat productive. :)
1. Ring
You can’t imagine how thrilled I was at the prospect of getting Silverbolt into the training ring for a little “one-on-one” um, training...even if I had to jump him first.
2. Hero
He’s always there like a shining heroic knight, always ready, with an incredibly strong sense of duty and he’s always the “goody-two-shoes” that my brother warned me about; yet, despite the differences we present to one another, we still connected.
3. Memory
Distractions can be fatal during a battle if you let them get too overwhelming; however, *this* distraction is one I’m willing to risk it for because I know that my memories of the Concord moaning beneath me is that much closer to reality again once this battle is over.
4. Box
Okay, I got a little overzealous…didn’t plan on getting boxed in this canyon…my mistake it seems - though it’s not likely to be forgotten anytime soon when a very familiar voice asks from above as a rope falls, “Need a lift?”
5. Run
Running away isn’t one of my mottos and I’ll be damned if I let him do it; there’s nothing to run from because if you’re scared, say so.
6. Hurricane
He’s like a hurricane sometimes, destructive to a fault but always a calm center that one can find solace within, if only for a few minutes.
7. Wings
‘Bolt has these unbelievably sensitive wings that even the slightest touch makes him shiver like he’s been out in the cold for hours on end with no heat.
8. Cold
Sometimes, I’ll go fly at night when the sky is dark and the wind cold like ice; I do this, just so I can think about where we are.
9. Red
He claims he has a halo but it’s always crooked when it sits on the little red devils horns.
10. Drink
Sunny’s highgrade is famous throughout the Ark, claimed to be one of the most exquisite drinks we can come across and I have to agree; but it tastes better with Sideswipe‘s mouth.
11. Midnight
Everyone, including his own brothers, see him as this seemingly unmovable rock…a support and that is sometimes hardest for him to bear; at these times, he seems darker than midnight.
12. Temptation
Flying is addictive…he is addictive…to the point where I can’t walk away, I can’t up and leave because I know that as soon as I walk out that door, the temptation will return and I’ll have no choice but to turn around.
13. View
I just sit here and watch the sky as it changes from one color to the next in a never ceasing circle; I feel my own anticipation as this tiny dot in the distance grows larger as Silverbolt speeds back towards me.
14. Music
Jazz is always playing something in his quarters, a soft melody to raging rock; but I see this song more than hear it, I see the music that is ‘Bolt’s very being…and sometimes it scares me that the song could stop.
15. Silk
I don’t think I could ever grow tired of watching Sideswipe move, he can’t sit still anyway, but watching him live and fight…he moves like pure silk, always smooth and sensuous.
16. Cover
I catch the look my brother gives as he passes by our “hiding spot”; the fragger just covered for mine and Silverbolt’s absences to Prowl, knowing full and well what uh, activity…we’d been engaged in.
17. Promise
I promised myself something very long ago, a promise to never lose myself to another again; and yet, here I am…completely and totally lost with a jet as a companion.
18. Dream
A firey crash, a resounding explosion, flying debris and a scream of despair; a hand on my shoulder shaking me, a voice asking me to wake and a quiet, innocent question, “Bad dream?”
19. Candle
Humans have many ceremonies that they perform for the simplest of reasons, some for holidays, others for love…and those of mourning; I have to hold myself back from flying out to stay with the floating candle as it drifts further away from shore.
20. Talent
He has a talent for destruction and a creative sense of how to use it, as he’s shown me, numerous times, that it is far from his only talent.
21. Silence
I used to value the time where everything was quiet, letting the silence permeate the air…but it’s never truly silent anymore because I can hear the quiet hush of air in his intakes, the slight twitch of his ailerons, and I don’t want the silence anymore.
22. Journey
They say that any journey begins with a single step…unless you prefer flying leaps onto the backs of unsuspecting Concords…then you just hold on.
23. Fire
I had a dream, no, a nightmare once about finding him broken and in flames but I never expected to find that in this fire…yet I did.
24. Strength
I can’t imagine what it must be like for him…to go into each battle never really expecting to survive but it happens anyway…the strength that it takes for both him and his brother to sacrifice everything they have, everything they are, to a cause makes me envy them.
25. Mask
At times I wonder if it’s really Sideswipe that I am really seeing…but is it perhaps another one of his masks-and, if that is the case, what is he hiding from?
26. Ice
Skyfire told me once that being encased in ice was perhaps the most dismal and even painful thing one could ever endure, yet, as I watch him drive angrily away, I can’t imagine any deeper pain than that I have caused.
27. Fall
Free diving is like flying without your wings attached, just letting the air take you and just fall; it’s just better when you know there’s someone on the ground to catch you if you can’t pull up.
28. Forgotten
“I’d nearly forgotten what it felt like…” I tell him, “letting someone touch my wings like this…” and I can feel him smile as he replies, “I’ll make sure you never forget again.”
29. Dance
All I do is grip the leading edge of his stabilizer and hold on as he dances in the sky.
30. Body
Heat, excruciating and exotic, with every touch of his hands; I reach up, eagerly wanting to return the touches that he’s bestowed upon my body.
31. Sacred
Family is sacred, there is nothing more so than this; I understand his needs as he understands my own.
32. Farewells
There’s a winged marker atop a hill near Autobot City, the name is obscured from time but I know who it represents and it’s taken me so long to come here again…but I’ll only say farewell again because goodbye is too hard.
33. World
Our world is one of war and it didn’t seem fair to bring these mere sparklings online in such conditions…’Bolt and his brothers futures are starting to look way too similar to mine and Sunstreaker’s pasts.
34. Formal
Military protocol has never really been his strong point, the formal stuff usually falls to me when both of us are involved, but sometimes, the red heathen can surprise anyone.
35. Fever
I feel like I have a fever, like my fluids are going to boil, like I could just explode…but he just looks at me with that pranksters grin and reaches for my wings one more time.
36. Laugh
Sideswipe’s laugh radiates throughout the room as he swaps jokes and stories with my brothers and it’s a sound that makes me smile.
37. Lies
Please Primus, tell me he lied…he can’t say that to me and then die, he wouldn’t do that…would he?
38. Forever
I’d hoped, I really had…that what we had could last forever…but in a war you never know when someone will die and for once, just once, I could’ve seen it coming so I could just make sure he’d lived instead.
39. Overwhelmed
I thought that having four others that shared my life was so much responsibility to bear and yet I want to add one more…I just hope I don’t get overwhelmed.
40. Whisper
“Come back to me” he whispers to me as I drive for another battleground to gain another scar.
41. Wait
I’m tired of this game…I don’t want to wait, I want, no, need him…but sometimes cars are hard to catch.
42. Talk
Death…it’s not a subject we like to breach but given the state of the war, it’s probably for the best to clear up a few things between us, this being one of them.
43. Search
You don’t know how long I’ve been searching for something, anything…then one day, I just looked into the sky.
44. Hope
Sideswipe has very curious hands, always exploring, always searching, touching and I can only hope that he doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon.
45. Eclipse
We had another fight, over something stupid as usual, always blown out of proportion…and each time it happens, it reminds me of an eclipse, cutting me off from the light.
46. Gravity
I may never understand this crazy Lamborghini’s love for flying for those two short minutes but I can understand the need to just break away from gravity, if only for a short while; I just make sure to take him with me.
47. Highway
The road is never lonely and the sky is never clear but having the sky above the highway makes the trip worth the while.
48. Unknown
He’s afraid of this and I don’t want to scare him, he’s so young, so naïve, but he feels it too…it’s something unknown and it scares him.
49. Lock
I screwed up again, pretty big it seems…Silverbolt has locked the door.
50. Breathe
I hear him breathe, the sound shuddering, his body shaking…he’s so close…all it will take is a few touches to his wings and he’ll be gone.
