After trying to convinced River to come out from under the bed, and failing spectacularly, Buffy just sighed, made a quick trip to the common room for two bowls of ice cream - one she placed under her own bed, one was for River - and began getting ready for the game ( Read more... )

"Pre-cheer gathering!" Buffy beamed. "Come on in!" She pointed with her hairbrush. "River is under the bed and won't come out, but she has ice cream."

"Okay! Let me grab my things, I'll be right back!" Marie practically bounced across the hall, grabbed her hairbrush and a few other handwavy things and then bounced back into Buffy's room.

"This is a great idea!"

"How are you feeling?" Marie asked. "I didn't get a chance to talk to you at practice the other day."

"Right, have fun and cheer for the team," Isabel grinned. "Although considering we're not playing another team? Who are we supposed to cheer for?" She blushed, "Well I know who I'm cheering for."
