I'm back from a really wonderful vacation.
Sorry to see the trip end...but c'est la vie...and life awaits.
The shows I saw were fabulous, "The Drowsy Chaperone" and "The Apple Tree". I learned my way around that massive crowd of a city more than I'd ever before...took the subway awl by meself! That was a little cool. I just love that city. It's pretty incredible.
Saw my grandparents, watched some old home videos--this is funny, while we watched the movies of my 3 1/2 year-old dad in 1958, my grandma made commentary about all the other kids in the movies such as: "Oh, that infant who's spitting up over there, her son just graduated from Law school", or "That 4 year old in the crib with your dad is the principal of an elementary school in Alabama." or "That toddler on the merry-go-round? Married with triplets."
I just found it bizarre and entertaining.
ACTF is coming up, for those of you who don't know, a theatre festival where 39 college students from around the region "compete"/audition for a scholarship called the Irene Ryan. And yes, Irene Ryan DID play Granny on Golden Girls. Awesome.
I'm also auditioning for summer stock there, so we'll see if anything comes out of that.
Alright, a lotta laziness awaits today, so I should get to it! Much love...to you. :-)
