Although running away seems extreme, I've always felt so incredibly bad for Jessica when Jack is all, "lol I love your sister lol." I remember furiously hating him when I was a kid.

She looks like a cross between a sous chef and a cowboy.
MY BRAIN: "LOL LOL LOL SPAGHETTI WESTERN LOL"
ME (to brain): "...Get out."

And the infamous Tofu-Glo subplot! EPIC fail.

ARGH how did I not think of that joke?

Dammit.

Yeah, Jack is such a fool. Not only is he in love with Jessica's sister, he's such an idiot about it. "I'll show my feelings by not saying anything and doing social things with her sister!" FAIL.

I think you are the only one here who likes the Tofu glo plot line. Please, elaborate on this.

I kind of like it, too. I'm not sure why. I like the description of Jessica's Tofu Glu party?

I'm not supposed to eat tofu (soy) anymore, for health reasons. I don't know about washing my hair with it, though.

Basically, it's so awesome. The tofu goes bad. Jessica is screwed. ... everything works out in the end.

Just crazy.

as a vegan, I can't decide whether I have a super soft spot for the tofu-glo storyline, or whether I hate it for making tofu sound so disgusting and setting the cause back by a hundred years.

I think both is acceptable. But leaning towards setting back the cause, just for the appalling images it evokes.

It is a strange excursion into Jessica's mind, isn't it? Enough to make it all seem a bit wrong.

Although her love for Jeffrey is strangely touching.

“As she entered the room, her eyes flashed, and I noticed they were the exact same shade of blue-green as the Pacific Ocean. Dames. Always with the geographical comparisons.”

OMG someone SO needs to do a parody of SVH that's similar to that "Boy Meets World" episode where they're all 1940s Casablanca/Detective Movie and it's made of awesome!
