This is it, you guys! The last SVT to be recapped! Let’s all gather around in hushed awe. Maybe even around a campfire. With a bag of cool green stuff to throw on the fire. ...Submitted for the approval of the midnight society, I call this story The Tale of Jessica and the Secret Star.

oh, poo.

that's what i get for writing the recapp of the very last SVT left but doing it longhand and then being beyond lazy and not typing it up quick enuff. and trying to be creative and make pictures to go with. but not knowing how.

oh well, yours was better. mine is SOO LONG. i might still post it, if dats OK. eventually. once i finish typing and my home internet starts working.

Totally okay! We're out of SVT now! We'll go through withdrawal if doubles aren't posted!!

OMG! I looked at the cover and was like "Wow, that's really orange." AND THEN YOU MADE IT ORANGIER! LOL. It does look like prison yard. You're so right. Maybe the reason everyone had such trouble finding this book is that librarians across the world thought it was like "Oz" or something.

Janet responds “maybe I can pick up some actors!”
Janet is so weird. No wonder she doesn't have friends her own age. I bet she's like 40 and trying to pick up sixth graders.

. And the final recapped image is a party on George Fowler’s yacht, decorated with purple crepe paper and a Welcome to Sweet Valley, America’s Most Typical Town! banner
Sniffle. It's so perfect.

If Oz took place in Sweet Valley... well, no one would ever get paroled because they'd all be represented by Ned Wakefield, and instead of Cell Block J being for police and associated others, it'd be for people who are too cool for the rest of the prison.

What a wonderful way to close out SVT! of course, 5 years later sweet valley becomes anything but typical, with all the kidnappings, doppelgangers, etc. oh the innocence of childhood!

If only all our life problems could be solved by games of truth or dare at unicorn sleepovers. *sigh*

Awesome cover manip!

And lovely recap too - it's years since I read this one. I don't like Jessica being desperate and awestruck, though :S
