NEWS ABOUT SWEET VALLEY CONFIDENTIAL
Hey guys, I saw a comment over at Shannon's Sweet Valley High Blog from Sarah Jae-Jones, who is an editorial assistant at St. Martin’s Press - the publisher of Sweet Valley Confidential. She said that Sweet Valley Confidential will be published in 2011. They are interested in promoting the book online and receive any inputs/comments from us Sweet Valley fans. Here is the content of her email to me:
Hi April:
Thanks for contacting me! We’re pretty excited about SWEET VALLEY CONFIDENTIAL and I’m glad to see others are too.
As of right now, we’re thinking of a February 2011 publication date for the novel. Nothing has been finalized yet (aside from the fact that it WILL be published J), but I will definitely send you a press release with more details that you can announce on your site. At the moment it is a standalone story about Jessica and Elizabeth in their late 20s, but if the fans want more I know Francine would definitely love to continue the series. We’re trying to gauge potential readership, especially as those of us who grew up with the series (even if they haven’t read it) are constantly online, absorbing information, discussing with other fans, etc. If you don’t mind me asking, do you know what your website stats are? How many visitors you get, how big the community is, etc.
I’d love to keep up a dialogue with you about this and let you know more about the publication process for Francine’s newest book; let me know if you’re interested!

Woo-hoo! It's great that FINALLY, Sweet Valley Confidential will be published!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I told her about my site, Sweet Valley Unlimited and had given her all Sweet Valley websites/blogs/communities that are updated including 1Bruce1. I also asked ger on whether she knows Francine Pascal's real e-mail address for me to contact her. I also asked her to keep me updated on Sweet Valley Confidential to let you guys know about it.
