Awesome! Love it that there are TWO songs dedicated to Jessica but nothing for boring Elizabeth. Also love the awkward, low-budget session-singer nature of this soundtrack.

Also - nice Neil Young reference :D

There's something a bit weird about a song being called Lotion.

It seriously is like session singers gone wild. And the music underneath is totally out of a karaoke machine.

Someone is selling this CD for $30 on eBay. That's thirty hard-earned dollars going towards 12 truly crappy songs and "Rose Coloured Glasses". (Totally agree with you on that one, by the way -- it's from the poetry episode where none of the kids actually understand what poetry reading entails...

$30? Thank God I only paid like $5 at the used CD store. Now I can happily place "Rose Colored Glasses" on my mix CDs without the guilt of having paid that much money.

Although as it stands, I'm stuck with "She Walks In Roses" in my iTunes. LOL.

I didn't even know there WAS a soundtrack. Now I kind of want it. I am so lame.

I laughed my way through this! Awesome! I got the soundtrack awhile ago and this post makes me want to turn it on, crank up the volume, and totally rock out to the great beats and lyrical poetry. Too bad DJ Jeff disappeared after Liz dumped him or I bet he would have made this soundtrack even funkier!

A quick google search confirmed your assertion, but also revealed that the Backstreet Boys were on it (released in 1997, so this must be amongst their first releases.) Goody. I "love" them.
