sexual impurity
Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.

Ok ladies . . . would you make out with your brother or how about your father?
fellas. . . how about would you make out with your sister or your mother?
What about either of yall going any further to sexual acts of impurity with family members?
Sounds disgusting huh?
Because it is!
so tell me this, if the bible literally and as plain as day says to treat all younger men and women, and, older men and women, as you would a relative with complete PURITY. . . then what would posses you to go up a girls shirt or down a guys pants? Would you do that to your parents? Of course not! So how do you justify it with your girlfriend or boyfriend? Biblically it is literally no different!
Until marriage vows are taken you should do NOTHING impure sexually with anyone!!!!!!
It is Gods will that you be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not passionate lust like the heathen that do not know God. and in this matter no one should wrong his brother to take advantage of him. The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told and warned you. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives his holy spirit.
1 Thessalonians 4:3-8
Ok so lets begin by dissecting this verse. . .
To be sanctified means: (1) To make something holy (2)To free somebody from sin, for example, by a ritual act of purification .
Then it states that you should learn to control your own body! And not like heathen! That is a terrible insult but Paul is speaking the truth!!! Only those not yet sanctified by God. Which is to be made holy. Should be acting like this. . . not that it is right for them to do but it is no more right for any of you as Christians to act on passionate lust and become like the heathen who act like this!
OK so lets back up and define “heathen” so you know exactly what it is Paul is calling all of us who can not control ourselves : it literally means- a person who does not believe in an established religion. And is meant to be an offensive term that deliberately insults somebody who does not acknowledge the God of the Bible.
So this means harshly, if we as Christians act in this way we are acting as someone who does not even ACKOELEDGE God. So take a minute and think to yourselves how much this rings true in your life!
Next the verse says that “no one should wrong his brother to take advantage of him.” You can take this as you like but it leads me to the verse:
“But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believes in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a huge millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” - Matthew 18:6
That’s a pretty big statement and that is from the mouth of your savior Jesus Christ himself! So its not just about you messing up its who you mess up with as well! You have no excuse! You can not say “well he/she should have been stronger b/c I was weak” b/c ive got an answer for that. . .
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has rightousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
~2 Corinthians 6:13-5
I understand we all mess up and there is a reason for everything but there is never an excuse that justifies anything evil in the Kingdom of God in which we who are saved live!
And finally at the end of this verse it states “ Therefore he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God”
That’s the kicker in my opinion! Now you know the truth and the instruction so you are not rejecting my message about sexual impurity but you are rejecting instructions ordain by God himself and you will be seen as a heathen. . . one who does not even acknowledge the greatest being ever!
