Notes: I almost forgot to post this. *hits self* I recently initiated one of my friends into Batman Beyond, and thus spent a day watching all of season one and two. This is the result. A few years into the future, time wise, but it doesn't really spoil anything (well, it hints at RotJ, but. Eh.). Also... *uses appropriate icon*

Matt struck a pose - grinning broadly, both hands on his hips. It was childish, yeah, but there was something else there. He looked so much like…
Terry cut off almost visibly.
“It’s very… black.”
Matt laughed, now. It was free and open and everything else it was supposed to be. “So’s yours!”
“You’re Robin, not Batman.”
He grinned again, but this time it was a Matt grin, hesitant and a little hopeful, and when he spoke it was in wonder. “I guess I am, aren’t I?”
There was really nothing else to do. He took Matt by the shoulders, and stared down at him so hard he could see Matt’s wide eyes shining behind the lenses. “You are. Don’t forget it.” One hand slipped down, and pressed to the R on Matt’s chest.
“I won’t… Batman.”
